im fed up with driving down the seafront and seeing loads of fiesta with xr2 badges and sierra cosworths with 1600cc engines and a big bore exhaust so y dont we get a load of z,ds to go down the one fri or sat night and show them what real cars are let me know what u think and we could possibly arrange sumthing one weekend

Hmmm, not sure I fancy getting fined for my tiny and mis-spaced number plate. Might give it a miss thinking about it - if the pesky pork chops are that hot down there.

You don't all have to drive up to the main seafront bit. There's more chance of parking up near the casino... there's no speed humps down there, just loads of cameras. Might get to see a bit of between camera racing too, depending how much law's around. It's not that far down from the pier if anyone wants to walk up to the main bit.

When your down there the regulars will tell you the shift changes they do, just drive round then! there is not that may really the odd couple now and then.

maybee we should book a day in june if we all met at chalkwell park we could drive down the front in one big line loads of zeds loads of horses loads of looks n loads of essex girls (im sure youve heard of them) oh and loads of fords running scared lol how about june 5th kids are on holiday so they can go in the arcades hot weather (not gaurenteed) then after we could all go to the 24hr mcdonalds on the 127 theres a huge car park there

no worrys my third gears gone in my auto box so out of the two we can make i zx lol

I dunno if this is of any interest but on the second saterday of every month areana essex holds mean street cruise a legal cruise event which they are now holding a drift event too £500 for the best drifter!

there is sections there for show and shine, ice and essex birds showing what they are made of :shock:

ok guys time to get names for the southend meet on the 5th june at 7.00 to 7.30 pm ,the general idea is to meet at chalkwell end of the sea front then go down the sea front in a big progression and show the xr2 mob what real cars are so all those interested post your names and ill get a list going,,,,, thanks ron

think ill pass on that guys due to the fact I am a tad to old to be going down the seafront and assing about with the wheel trim boys.

That and the speed ramps are a pain in the ass, the cops nick anything that sounds half decent and I am probably going to bump into some kids I coach.

 

Going to get together one sunday though, will put a notice up on the board when dates finalised.
