Honestly Alex,

I don't know of anyone that has:D;)

Hey, i get bored easily!!

it's a bit like the time when i was a salesman, i had an early appointment in Dover, so it was early, i was tired and i wasnt concentrating because i was on the mobile phone.

I'm cruising at a steady 70 and all of a sudden the traffic stops infront of me, i slam on the anchors and hang up the phone and look about to find out what the hell was going on. In front of me was a big sign counting down 5 minutes to departure, 4 minutes to departure, 3 minutes...........

.......... not concentrating i had left the motorway and was queuing for the channel tunnel train to france.

now that was embarrassing trying to explain that to the guy at the ticket barrier.... no really i dont want to go to france , i'm just trying to get to dover

I have a quick one.......my starter packed up in the Z and I had it re-conditioned. Now at work there is a pit in the garage....but a very very shallow one. You have to kinda kneel down in there. So I'm under the car and fitting new starter motor back on but forgot to disconnect battery and ZAP!! fookin earthed out my ratchet on the body somewhere, almost welding it to it. Right, that's prob fooked it I think but carry on to fit it anyway after disconnecting battery.

My Z was off the road for a few days while workshop had starter motor so was keen to get it back on the road and was annoyed with myself for shorting it out.

So, all fitted, all cramped up and squashed in this fookin tiny pit. Was a right pita.

Got back in the car, here we go......turn key.......nothing......dead......not a sausage.

I lose my temper and start smashing things up in the garage.

Then realised it was in DRIVE. Was fine afterwards. :slap:

i changed my battery once, got in car and wondered why my stereo didn't come on as it usually does, two days later after rechecking the battery connection I had the brain wave of pressing the power button and on she came :D

I managed to set my TR7 convertible on fire! I was welding around the rear floor pan like you do & I suddenly noticed a crackling noise + funny smell. I stood up only to see flames coming from behind the drivers seat

I had to run in the house to get water, by the time I got back, the flames were licking right up the back seat, i.e. about 2' in height

Should have pulled the carpets out first :o :smw:

Then again, maybe I should have let the fooker burn

i changed my coat once, got in the shop and wondered why my gayness didn't come on as it usually does, two days later after rechecking the coat connection I had the brain wave of getting my old gay coat back again and on she came :D

6 no oh shit I've done this one on a different post , BYE

Anyone else got the gza battery tie down ?.

I was tightening up the pos terminal on the battery with a 10mm as you do. I completely forgot what I was doing and touched the other end of the spanner on the battery tie down. Lucky enough I was quick to react and didn't get a shock until I tried to pick the spanner up again which was still touching both the nut on the posative and the battery tie down  :slap: :xxx:.

Now someone else has had to have done or almost done that !!!

Once my brother decided to test a car battery by arcing it out with a couple of spanners :slap: . The battery blew up & he got covered in acid! Luckily he didn't get burnt as he was quick to get under the shower!
