Looks like I am gona try one

THIS IS THE LAST CLUTCH YOU WILL EVER BUY FOR A Z!

This clutch will hold at least 1000 HP! You can slip this clutch against your e-brake and make boost sitting still to launch just like an automatic torque converter!

It has a fairly stock pedal feel with stock like engagement. It is as smooth as butter!

It can also be completely rebuilt.

What happened was.............................................

As Usual I don't get any reply from our friends across the pond :xxx:

3 months ago I was looking at this super auto box that can take 800bhp,I have not heard anything from them.Don't you just love people that don't have any manners to let you know what is going on when you are spending serious money with them FFS!

My fast road box is fantastic however IMHO I can't see the point of frying it just for the hell of it.So having to go manual without much choice really:(:(:(.

There are loads of places in the UK who can make boxes to your spec. You dont need to send off for Amarica for parts like that.

Have you asked any UK companies for advice?

Well Mac i think that was a wise choise. I dont know wether u remember when a mention a buddy that has a box made for him for a z that will handle 1000hp.His box was superb and help me a lot in drag racing but the most odd thing was that 1 day when he started his car the reverse was lost.

The RPS clutch looks good but y dont u go for a tripple hks or os gigen with that sort of money u'll save up to $1200 and put a 2 way lsd

Well Pambos,I really hate the way a tripple plate clutch bites,I have driven a Skyline with one fitted and It was one of the worst things I have ever driven.

This RPS one is meant to have the feel of a stock pedal So I am going to give it a go I think;)

Is that autobox still ok apart from no reverse?

Common Mac, get yer order in will ya, I'm waiting for my new clutch :p:D;)

Yeah apart from the reverse the box was awesome the changes were F*****g fast even in low rps when he change the gear manually the change was done with no delay. Just imagine that in the drag racing the weather approached 40 degrees celcious and even more but the box didnt had any problems :) :)

What sort of hp are after Mac.Your tubs are 25g right?

go for it macca - you know you wanna :D

Manual Macca, he he!! ;)

LOL No that 20K is a one hit bill, add that + the cost of the car+the rest of my mods and it has set me back over 54k

PS I rob banks for a living:D;)

Just a bit more info on em for yer boys.

From Greg Dupree in US, the man who knows his cluches,

"The Carbon material is baked for 6 months at 2500 degrees to be at the state is. It is the same material used on the nose cone of the space shuttle and it is used for brakes on bullet trains and Indy race cars.

The material will last MUCH longer then anything else and in normal driving would last over 100,000 miles.

Because we want these clutches for slipping at high horse power they will wear according how much abuse they see.

RPS will rebuild them free for the first year. It is not likely that this clutch would be worn this soon.

These clutches do feel like a regular street clutch and are amazing to drive."

£54k?

You could have got a 2nd hand Diablo, or a NEW Noble M12 GTO which does 0-60 faster than any Lambo or Porsche. I think standard its 4.3.
