The kit was supplied and you are nearly finished the installation!

 

1)The product that was advertised was the product you received, there where

three pictures on the auction.

2 where of the vinyl kit installed and 1 was leather(all of which where

kits i sold). as per a fault in uploading one leather trim picture.( which

you have saved to file - if you don't have them i can send them to you.)

 

2)The trim kits are pre cut larger so there is room for error in

installation.

 

After all your accusations and misinformation spread about the trim kits

which is unacceptable before finding out the full story.

I will refund you 30 pounds for the kit for the fault in uploading 1

picture.

I would accept the refund offer, as you have used the actual parts of vinyl. He's never going to back dwon 100% and you wont accept his half-apology 100% either. Take the £30 and go and but 2/3 of a tank of optimax to have fun with!

To be honest with you the guys seems like an honest bloke.

Most other comapnies wouldn't give you a penny if you have already started fitting it. let alone cut it up.

 

I have also ordered a kit off of Brett so will give my views also when I recieve the kit.

Oh yeah, happy with the part refund. The kit cost £86.50 with shipping and import tax. So its cost me £56.50 for some vinyl. Very expencive bit of Vinyl.

Console yourself that if Nissan supplied such stuff it would be even more expensive

Oh, I thought it was £50 all up. Yeah, has worked out a bit expensive. Bummer, good luck with it though. I have been finding out how much leather is and a hide seems around £90 and is roughly 6' x 6' tapering down to 3' at one end. Do you think this would be enough?

I went to a place called fabric warehouse in eastbourne but no doubt they have stores all over, also C+H fabrics do the same stuff. its about 140-50cm so pretty big.

Same place I got mine from, didnt realise they were that spread out ;), and IIRC that was the same price I paid. I brought 5 metres and still have about a metre and half left.

Saw stuarts site, and was going to put Black piping in originally, but thought it would look naff, so went for the Red, and tbh I think it looks OK. May still re-do some panels, as I'm not 100% happy with them.

 

my cars red and iv done the interior in a maroon, u can only really do the piping on th door cards and maybe a little on the rear quarters so i think il just do that black to neaten it up, gonna finish th doors this week hopefully so il get some pics up soon

Good point, the recess in the rear cards is much less, and there is nowhere else to put piping. I must get around to doing the piping on the rears, as I havent done it yet :rolleyes:
