Myself and Jaffa set to work on my car early this morning.

James300 arrived a little later in time for sandwiches :D.

Really appreciate your help today guys, made light work of fairly meaty tasks.

Here's some pictures.

Ok First we stripped this lot out.

Can anyone name all the bits ?. I doubt it

If anyone needs any of these bits make me an offer (UK rad is only 4 months old)

Next we fitted the underdrive lightweight pulley (thanks to PaulC for oncall support ;) )

Do the I/C drop straight on Stu.

Got mine to do at the weekend but wondering how long it takes to see if I can fit it in.

Cheers

Ok, these were fairly easy but you need to modify the stock brackets and the holes are misaligned. you also need to modify the stock elbow hose by cutting 20mm off of one side, there is a mount that connects to the bottom tow bar nuts, and finally they give you two silicone hoses and a metal hose which conect together, you need to get the gaps right betweeen these otherwise the IC will sit p|ssed if you know what I mean.

Not yet mate but they are working on it. So hopefully shortly.

Stuart, can you weigh the pulley as it is different to the one I have. Mine seems smaller than that.

2lbs 1 ounce mate, when Kyle did his own pulley set he didn't want to go to light, compared to stock though it's like an ant against an elephant, lol

Think yours is about 5-6 ounces lighter ?

Time to put the car back together.

The paint had dried from the previous nights spray job.

The electric fan was mounted on the Rad

The cam covers, water pipes & hard water hoses were put back in along with the radiator (not an easy task and took a good part of 3 hours). Radiator brackets needed modifications. Also the upper and lower rad necks also needed modifications as they are smaller than stock.

Greddy intercoolers mounted and plumbed in and AFM and induction put back in place.

Hard pipes put back in place and PTU relocated.

Still to come. Wire up electric fan to ignition relay. Fit slam panels. Put bumper and splash guards back on.

We started her up last night and she pured away nicely. A little high on idle but ECU has been reset so we will see if she settles down.

Anyone know if the PRVR or AIV removal will effect the vaccum, it was sitting at -20 previously but now sits at -14, if they don't then I have a boost leak somewhere :D.
