I am with pipex dsl 500mb and its wicked i think it cost 17.99 to set up thats with free modem and 2 filters (so you can use your phone at same time as pc.

ATM I pay £25.99 for NTL BB, £18.99 for telephone and basic cable tv and then my call charges are on top of that...and then all them have VAT.

I know - What I intend to do is, as we don't really watch that much TV, is to get a cheap digi box, hence no Cable needed, then get cheap BB and then all I'll need is a cheap phone provider.

All you lucky gits with a choice of cheap solutions ! All I have is BT Satellite (very expensive) or http://www.w20.net wireless (£34ish per month) which hopefully will be installed sometime very soon .....

1Mb with NT-Hell, I got first 3 months at £5, then the usual £24.99. I wouldn't say i'm over the moon with the service but, I've tried most of them and these for me are proberbly the best.

Im on bt broadband, dont know how many megs or gigs or whatever a second, all i know is i pay my £30 a month and i can leave it connected permanently!!

 

And in the 18 months or so its been on theres only been about 2 outages for a couple of hours a time.Though it doesnt seem cheap when you see some of the other deals around, but at least with bt i know it will always work, and i wont get any crazy bills etc.
