Yes thats right folks my engine is ready, however my injectors are still in Japan FFS!Border said they would send on the 27th of last month, they just sent another mail and said they will send them out this month on the 22nd.

AM I PISSED OFF :mac1:

Nothing I can do TBH waste of time and money fitting the Nismo 555s I have, as they won't provide enough fuel for the rest of my set up:(

Will Border send on that date? Will I make it for Billing 2004?

i reckon you should give them a ring and give them a good *****cking, see if they will come to some kind of agreement for compensation for being wasters. Got any pics of the motor? Im presuming its equipped with the turbo's and pentroofs all bolted on?

Macca - Haven't you got a run in period anyway? I assume you will not be able to give the car any stick so won't you be able to run the car on standard or 555 injectors during that time ?

So, Mac. Is there any boot space left now that you need that huge fuel tank just to make it to Asda and back. :D

Tim

at this rate i'm going to be ready before you

Yea kind of makes sense Cos,However...................................

To map the car with 555s,then remove the plen fit new 850s refit plen and remap would just be a complete ball ache IMHO.

Fair comment. I feel many phone calls coming on.

No point in fitting the tubs and manifold without the plen, pics of a friends car in Holland here.

Macca, do you have a guestimate at what power your gonna put out, or a guestimate of your 1/4 mile?

How are you going to have a custom map? I presume they do it on the rolling road to see if the power is good.

If so, dont you think dynoing a rebored engine before its worn in is a little risky?

Jay no idea TBH,all I can tell you is I have spent £££££££££££££££££££££££££ on this project to try and get the 300zx on the tuning map in the UK.

Go on Macca, change it to a manual - I dare ya! Get those power figures right up there!

Yes Alex I am fitting the Greddy External Wastgates..............................

The external wastgates mount to the outside of the exhaust manifold or to a pipe connecting to the pipe. They relieve manifold pressure at a predetermined boost setting from your boost controller. The internal wastgate is mounted to the turbo and has a valve just behind the exhaust section of the turbo. This opens via a rod connected to a wastegate actuator. Which in turns also relieves at a predetermined amount of pressure. The external wastegates can be vented to the atmosphere or back inside the exhaust system.

and sound like a surpised horse getting violently fooked......

Stu only a total fu*ckin IDIOT would dyno a car on a RR with a new engine fitted  :nono:

1500-2000 miles before that happens.

So why dont you leave the 555cc in while you run it in and wait for your new injectors?

its not like the engine has to be out to install them
