CH5 at 8pm. This should be good - Documentary with investigative journalist Donal MacIntyre. In this car crime special, MacIntyre invites car criminals on the run from the police to join him at a star-studded corporate event. They think they are in with a chance of winning a sports car, but are actually facing arrest.

I saw a clip of this epsidode last week and you get some jumped up little dick who thinks he's great cos he joyrides - ends up getting nicked :D

They got that idea from the Simpsons, where they sent letters to criminals saying they won a boat in a raffle and had to go the police station to claim it.

Some people are so dumb!

sounds good - i'll take a look

That idea came off an Al Pacino film, think it was called "Serpico"if not that one ,it was one of his scams to lure crooks to a venue.Works tho! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

Shame they are only going after the scrotes that dont do their community service!!!!

you have to commend them but why go to all that expense only to be told at the end all of them were back out on bail....seems to all too easy if you ask me.....i think the rot set in when they stopped the cane at schools and lettin coppers cuff you round the lughole when they caught you up to no good

how pathetic, one of the guys was being taken in for nicking diesel from a truck, nothing else! Not that I think nicking diesel is acceptable, but there are plenty of scumbags out there who nick stereo's or even cars on an almost daily basis, and 2 examples in that very program where their joy riding antics saw people killed. IIRC they caught 1 maybe 2 people who had missed their community service after doing this, and even then they got let out again after. The legal system is a disgrace, and thats before ive even got started on the police offering to support a convict's heroin addict while he's in the cells!

It was funny with that guy who looked about 12, when he saw the coppers I thought he was gonna cry  LMFAO

:nono: very disappointing - as they got off after it !

Bit weak as others said above. The problem is the law, not catching the scrotes. :nono:

shoot the bast@rds! I say!

Dont hold back Nigel - say what you mean..........

The problem is not the Police (cant beleive I said that but ho hum) its the bloody magistrates! They bail them over and over again, FFS most scum have 80+ previous! WTF thats about 8 times the combined figure for the Brinks job! Hang them! The magistrates that is!
