Hi,

 

I ordered some parts from Courtesy about a week ago now.

 

I hadn't recieved any emails apart from confirmation of placing order and acceptance of order, so today i mailed them and fair enough it turns out that it had shipped last week. I have been given the tracking number and after looking it all up it appears my package arrived in the UK on the 1st april then 9mins later it shows up as being with customs and that is it!

 

Has anyone else had a problem like this when ordering with Courtesy?

its not a problem with courtesy, often customs will take packages to inspect, my last one was with them for 7 weeks, I have on in there at the moment thats i've been waiting for for 4 weeks now.

 

You pay your money, take your chance.

Fair play!

 

Just wondering if it was usual! I'll prepare for a long wait!!!

Phone them up. My dad bought stuff from America and it was stuck in Customs for over a week. They only delivered it when he phoned and complaned.

For anyone doing a search on Courtesy delivery times and costs here is what i got:

 

1 Timing belt kit

1 Tube Silicone gasket

Cost inc shipping: £240.61 (obviously dependant on Exchange rate)

Import Duty: £63.62

Delivery time: 9 days (would have been 8 but i missed the first delivery)

This is what i got in the kit:

 

1 a/c compressor belt

1 fan/alternator belt

1 power steering pump belt

1 timing belt

2 water hoses

1 water pump assembly

1 water pump gasket

1 crankshaft sprocket plate

2 camshaft O-rings

4 camshaft oil seals

1 front crankshaft oil seal

2 tensioner springs

1 timing belt tensioner

1 thermostat

and 1 orange tube of silicone gasket :D

 

BTW i received an email this morning from chris saying my gauge has been delivered!
