Another prop bearing question

Hi guys,

I have finally decided that I am in need of a new prop bearing due to some wurring noise and vibration through my seat.

I would like to take advantage of the pound versus dollar situation at the moment though and order the bearing kit from the US.

Before I start asking for quotes though can anyone tell me the if I just have to ask for a propshaft bearing. The reason for asking is that I am sure I heard from someone that there is 2 bearings along the prop so would need to make sure I got the correct one.

Cheers,

Justin

PS

Anyone know the part number for this to help speed things up when I am asking about?

Hi Justin,

If it's the centre bearing you're talking about then I bought one from Courtesy Nissan back in october. The part number was 37521-33P25 but I just called them and asked for a propshaft centre bearing. The total cost back then (including shipping) was $161.38. However, I think I also had to pay the customs charge which came to another £30, but I paid that when it arrived.

Darren.

Justin,

Just one centre bearing.

If you order from Courtesy in the States remember that you will have to pay about 22% excise and duty, plus about £25 for air freight. (remember the duty % is calculated on the cost of goods including the freight costs)
