Just read the article in Japanese Performance about this track/driving tuition, and this is what I think I would need. Seems like a good approach and would let me enjoy the car and have confidence in it and maybe a bit more in my ability. Seems like it would be a good balance between learning how to use the car in general and drivng on a track.

Wonder how much it costs. No mention on the website... probably means it's expensive- but worth it if it's good.

It's about £400 for the session. The guy's supposed to be a driving god, some people I know who really can drive have done it and still reckon it was worth the cash.

I think it probably would be worth it. From reading the article it just seems he has a different way of doing it. £400 is a lot, but it might be another good 'upgrade' for the car.

Very interesting read, was thinking the same, anyone fancy checking out the cost, could be cheaper as a group

already on this. i e-mailed him last week. the price is £395. it'll probably be the best money you'll spend on your car. and why not upgrade the driver as well as the car!

Try a search on http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing it's not 100% positive feedback. and £400 for 2 hrs 1 to 1 tuition is not cheap.

I thought it would be a full day, or at least more than two hours for £395. I appreciate he might be good, but that might just be a little bit out my budget for 2 hours.

There was an option with the track day we tried to do, to have a pro driver with the group for the day giving lessons.

I think we need to get a clear track, at least one instructor and an entire day given over to the 300zx.co.uk members.

I know quite a few of you have looked into the options, so how about a thread to see which track can offer us the best deal?

(and don't forget the insurance too!)
