Got my new exhaust fitted today and the cats replaced with de-cat pipes. Very noisy- but now the car's 'proper' not just stock. The guy said it would get a bit quieter after it had been run in a bit.

Ok, it might not be big and brash, but I liked it- not too overpowering and still with twin exits. Now I can change my sig to actually include a 'mod'- woo hoo!!

Good man!!!

:hyper:

Just got the wife (!!!!) to drive the car up the road and back to let me hear it. Sounds ACE!!! Still think it's a bit in your earhole inside the car but it sounds ****ing magic driving off.

Noticed any difference in acceleration?

What I said on the other thread I started when I was asking for advice was-

What I found on the drive back was that the car felt a little more responsive- it would pick up speed a bit quicker, and I felt I was sitting in a lower gear for longer- I would stay in second till I was revving a bit higher.

Another possibly imaginary effect seems to be that changing gear seems smoother, almost as if the power carries on while I'm changing up and it's easier to 'pick up where I left off' after a gear change, where before gear changes could be a little jerky- power would fall off as I changed up and make the take up after the change seem not so smooth. Maybe all that is totally in my head.

 looks good bud,nice one.
