Very pleased with my black one...but the red one doesn't work at all because it's the wrong shape - valet key and all that. Seems a bit pointless really.

 

Overall, very happy because I now have a spare! Who needs two anyway?

charles have you had th red one cut? use the black one as th template, mine works fine on everythn apart from glove box and boot (which is wot its supposed to do)

No not arrived yet, I'll keep a lookout for them.

 

wrt Charles post above, presumably you'd need to cut the valet key to a different shape for it to work - unless you have a valet key to copy it will just have to be a match for the standard master key (surely??)

no u use the same key as a template, i used one key to have both cut, its the shape of the centre part of th key that makes them function differently

Problem is mate, that it doesn't work in the doors, boot or ignition. Yaseen's one worked fine though, so hopefully yours will be fine also!

Received mine, then had problems finding somewhere that was prepared to cut them. Went to Timpsons in Melton finally, asked me to put a donation in the charity box, and thats all it cost me!!

 

New keay are a little tight though, and I can see why, no problem though will sort that. Both blanks fitted where they were supose to, and now cut will fit and turn (but with a struggle) this is not the keys fault, but my original.

Recieved the keys and Im well chuffed with them thanks, as for the valet key, when I had mine cut the man behind the counter said something about you have to be careful doing them as the profile is different and he wouldnt give me a guarentee it would work after he has done it, but fortunately it does, thanks for sorting this out and ordering them in for us mate.

Received mine this morning - got them cut for free (but the guy was convinced the valet key wouldn't work!) I told him they both fitted the ignition lock - he was suprised and cut them anyway. Both work fine in the ignition - I haven't had chance to check everywhere else yet.

Does look good. Very impressive...I'm debating whether to blow a wad of cash on new 18's or a good hide to carve up and hand stitch myself. My girlfriend's off round the world for 9 months on Sunday so I'll need something to keep me busy and stop me from going mad! The more I see pics like that the more I want the leather interior!
