My Border 850cc fuel rail is on it's way from Japan.

Now this is what you get in the kit when you see it advertised for $1400

Now they dont tell you that you need other bits to fit it :(

- adjustable fuel pressure regulator

- connectors for injectors

- complete set of bolts

- some more hoses and connectors

I already have a Nismo adjustable fuel pressure regulator so I am paying an extra £300 yes £ for 6 injector connections :mac1:

Into the realm of deminishing returns, but it will be a beast when you finish it.

Love to see the list of mods that you send the insurance company, especially when you find that the ins' co. has moved their call centre to bombay and the guy at the other end of the telephone learnt English from bad Hollywood films. :D Cynic me? Never!

I'm very concerned that you've forgotten the most important upgrade....

It may as well be green as the fuel rail is burried under the plen and you won't see it;)

Doesnt the plenum have to be machined to make them fit ?

NO.

Must be someother ones that. I head the you need a little modification to make it fit.

NO.

Iain I thought you had to sort out the lower intake as it is different to accomodate the different shape injectors & the different fuel rail to match.

Fits 1990-8/1994 300zx. You choose between 550cc, 660cc or 850cc injectors. Includes 6 injectors, fuel rails and misc fuel fittings. Installation should be handled by a competant 300zx mechanic

But I was not wrong when I said that you would not get your car back before JULY was I  , I seem to remember you saying that you would hang bob and Pete out of the window by there short and curlys if the car was not ready by Feb then March then April :xxx:

9 months for an engine rebuild

I think the truth will be in which engine lasts the longest.

Baggins or Mac's

However Baggins has the advantage as he is not running anywhere near the power that mac will be pushing out.

Baggins could also do another 11.5 rebuilds before he got to the same cost of Iains

Way Way too much money than sence.

Then sence never was a word that went in the same sentance as 300zxtt

Nothing to do with SE mate It was down to me sorting bits from Japan and the US.Infact to put it another way I would rather it did take months to complete as I would hate to spend 24K and have it rushed.

However your 2 bob engine rebuild has nothing to do with the fact that you were WRONG as usual PMSL Oh hang on we will have to wait and see about that
