When I bought my 300ZX, my girlfriend and mates all pissed themselves as the mats say 'Fairlady'.

 

So I've banned the word from the house (but no-one listens).

 

Anyone else feel the same? Or know how to get rid of the 'F*******' tag from the original interior mats without ruining them. :dance: :dance:

no, I dont see the problem, ts a nice name imo, only reason i removed the badge is because it was peeling.

It is a kind of dichotomy/contradiction type thing- poncy name for a big fat powerful car. I like it. Proud of my Fairlady badge. Even if it is peeling.

And I'd be very proud of my Fairlady badge, had i got one :confused: As I've got no badging on the rear at all :cry:

 

Have got the mats with the metal plate though :D

if your not careful shes not a fairlady in the wet shes more of a shady lady :D

The previous owner of my car was obviously so ashamed he ripped the fairlady badge off and now there is a dirty mark. If anyone wants to get rid of their badge, or knows where I can get a new one, I'll put it straight back on.

 

I got hassel at work when ringing up for insurance quotes the lads heard me say Fairlady. F*** it, I'll whoop their Festa's and ST170's any day just to show them the badge on the back (assuming i ever find one) as per Billynomates comment. Take the pi55 when you pa55.

doobs,nissan dealer for the fairlady sticker,about £15 quid if i remember.

They don't call it the Fairlady in the US as it sounds too poncy (to some, not me) so they just call it a "Turbo Zeeee" and shove another 20 BHP under the bonnet.

i found that turps substitute works best. just make sure its on and off quickly.

as long as it comes off within about 10 mins its not a prob. wash the car after it. even if it splashes it will mark or worse if left. HTH. si :duffer:
