Directional wheels

I know that the wheels on a Z are directional - and I seem to remember reading that they aid brake cooling or something like that.

If that's true then why didn't they make two for one side and two for the other that were 'reversed' so that they all did the same job ? Surely at the moment one side is benefiting from the wheel's effect and the other is not....

Is it just uneconomical to produce a true matched set - ie two and two ?

XR3's had the same thing (showing my age here) as did countless other cars. I think even if you are buying an expensive after-market directional alloy you still get only one direction which of course is 'wrong' on one side'.

all 4 wheels are different -they are ALL directional. If yours are not, they are off different cars.

Are they? Mines a Jap spec, and has 7.5 J all round, so are the rears different to the front, on the same side?? Sorry, just didnt think they were :nelson:

I entierly agree that UK spec has 4 different ones, as the rears are 8.5J.

Not wanting to disspute what you are saying here. :nelson: :slap:

You're right, the UK has 4 different, whereas the J'Spec has just 2, i.e. L & R.

no he's right - only UK have 4 different wheels, as back ones are wider than the front.
