Jesus thats bad, those pics tell a story dont they..

reckon he was doin 90 or so , something like a badger runs across road and under offside front wheel, front of car lifts and spins 90' to the near side impacting tree at exactly the right point to split car in half. The fookin door is still wrapped round the tree.

I guess if he'd been going 50 he may have kept contol of the car, suppose speed is a risk we all take and accept, i mean we dont see trains limited to 50 incase they derail - we want them to do 125.

Blimey thats nasty!

(BTW Last time somebody posted a picture involving wrapping a car around a tree, a couple on here were under the impression the tree would have broken - LOL - are they gonna dispute this one too??)

At least he removed his stereo face when he left the car

Seriously though, thats nasty - although I'm not sure I'd be driving at high speed with trees either side....

Christ. It's time to slow down a bit....

Never fight with a tree, they're made tough. Must've been bad - that one got it's bark scratched !

Thats is nasty one. is that 90 that the speedo is stuck at

Yeah, but it's a European car (LHD, and look at the other number plates) therefore the speedo will be in KMH, so 90 aint all that quick, but obviously still quick enough............ :(

No air-bag, and no claret, which is unusual.

I do hope the Squirrels were given a key to get into that tree afterwards...

No blood anywhere ! Did he survive ?

My mate used to work in a salvage yard and they were always pulling teeth and stuff out of dashes and steering wheels.........

the squirrels ate all the carrion.

squirrels ate that too.

I'm not sure though, but it looks as though the rubber wasn't too clever! but it must have been a fair rate to have chop the bugger in half like that.

Yes he managed to press the ejector seat a split second before the collision!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :p

The stereo still looks in good nick. Does anyone know who's car it was, I'd like to make them an offer for the stereo?? (providing the face is not too badly scratched!!!!) :nelson:

Bruiser

That looks like a staged accident, perhaps for a road traffic safety ad or something. Thaere is no fluids on the ground, and the engine looks all in one piece the right way up. And there are no scrapes on the paintwork (the bits that arent torn apart) .Look a little closer.

Could it have been cut in half by the fire brigade to get people out?

Or could it have been two cars welded together?

The force needed to rip it like that would be astronomic.

From other bulletin boards, it would appear to have been a Cut & Shut. I have nothing to back that up, though...just people's opinions on the remains.

Hmm, the general twisted-ness of the whole car, probably negates the argument of it being a cut n' shut.

Check out the bend in the steering wheel - part of driver would have done that!

Still shocking!!
