Well, after months and months of cursing myself because I would never get round to buying a Digital camera, I finally did it. I bought a FujiFilm 4700.

http://www.fujifilm.com/JSP/fuji/epartners/ServiceSupportProduct.jsp?prodcat=235134&productselect=true&product=43860710&item=I235134&subitem=SIServiceSupport235134

However, something that I did want to run past you guys is, have any of you ever been browsing through ebay and ended up making a "Buy it now" purchase without actually having clicked on it. The reason I ask this is because before I bought the camera, I was looking at this:-

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=11024&item=3079892387 - but I'm sure I never clicked on "buy it". Anyway, it ended up in my paypal account ready for payment but being as it was so cheap, I never disputed it and just bought it. Glad I did not TBH.

Both have turned out to be quality pieces of kit. Am very happy. Will test drive the camera next Saturday at the meet.

Like many have said before - "I just wanted to tell someone"

Nice one, I have had the same digital camera now fro about 2 years, its an pld Kodak and isnt worth FA now.

Looks like a nice piece of kit, get some pics of ur car taken and show us the quality!!!!! ;)

The fuji cameras are excellent, I use one nearly every day and it's great. I like the look of the USB drive too - how much did it work out in GBP? - you should arrange a Group Buy from them!

I really need to get organised with EBAY - I'm sure I'm missing out on loads of good gear.

I paid £109 + £19 from the states, and then another £19.74 for handling and VAT. So nearly £160! I wreckon it's just about worth it.

However, it didn't come with the rechargable batteries so have had to go out this weekend and buy some 2300Mha jobbies cus the camera sucks battery juice harder than..........well, just very hard.

Here's a pic of today just after it had hailed. Very unexpected!

I use a Finepix 6900, and the quality of the pics is very good. I think that camera has the same optical chip in, just our one has a larger zoom.

Hmmm, can you bring the camera to the midlands meet if your going Cos?

I've been looking at a few camera's that being one of them.

Cheers

Yes - just spotted it. Will bring it on the 4th. I just hope that the Mrs hasn't planned anything for that day!

hehehe, cheers mate:D

I'll bring mine on the 4th as well :D but it's only the fuji A202 :(, still nice quality for a small one ( hmmmmmm heard that somewhere before  )
