FFS, think of the money saved! you could spend it on your Zed!

FFS, trust you Hermy to come up with that one :slap: ;)

Way to make me feel sh*te, lol. :D

I won't mention it cost you about 7K then :D:D:D

I put the money I saved towards buying my Zed. So yes, you do save a lot of money, and I was getting them duty free as i only live 10mins from the Chunnel. :D

Actually for well over half that time I was smoking roll up's. So we will half that figure. 3.5K still not good though.

I worked out how much I had spent on ciggies the other day......came to over £54,000!!!!!!! ....and that's without the 'extras' that go into the roll-ups! But then I have been smoking for over 22 years :(

Maybe I'll give the happy pills a try too.

the 'extras' that go into the roll-ups!

You mean tobacco right!.... ;)

But of course! ;) ;)

Me & the wife nearly split up when we stopped smoking. They were certainly times to be forgoten.

Only for 18 months though, so go for it Mac. ;)

LMAO:D That is the last of my worries:D;)

I have been given up about a month now.

I used to smoke about 10 a day minimum for about 6 years on and off. Always stopped and then started again...this time I really do intend to stay stopped. I still get cravings every now and then, but I get through 5 packs of XXX mints a week and afda 5 mins, the cravings go. Its all about keeping your mind busy when the craving comes on. As soon as it does, just think about the next mod for your zed!!! HTH

Although tonight I am going out for the first time since i stopped.....real tester for me but I know how I'll feel in the morning if I do smoke.

Best of luck to you both...........you'll reap the benfits if u stick @ it.......;)

I've got this addiction to that bit just over 4000 revs where the tunnel vision starts...

Can I get some Brembos on the NHS?

(Best of luck to both by the way)

Well looks like this is working.not sparked one up since Sunday night  :hyper:  :hyper:  :hyper:

Stick to it mate, it`s not easy but worth it in the long run. I gave up 4 years ago and found it got easier but the feeling for one takes a long time to go. I sometimes go to take one when offered now but that is habbit not the craving which is the hard bit.

Bob I really want to do this, now I got this far I say I have a good chance of giving up

PS Never did I think I could go 3 days without a cig

Good Luck mate,

I know you can do it!!

My old man died of Lung Cancer and fags have killed half of my mum's family!

They did better than the germans in WWII.

My 2 grandads died of lung cancer and my granma died of a heart attack most probably due to her 40 a day habbit.

My dad gave up for 2 years but started again after his death of his dad over 20 years ago.

Its not easy mate, and the felling that you want a cig will never go away. This may sound soppy but you are not doing it for yourself, you are doing it so you can see your kids for a few more years.

Yeah come on Macca we can do it (2 weeks and no ciggies!), must say this stuff is brilliant I think Iain and I would have killed someone by now without it!

My father died from cancer of the throat when he was only 32. I was only 7 years old and my brother 5!

Keep up the good work & kick the habbit for your kids sakes. :)
