LOL , well if you dont care they'll stealth tax you to death!

I see fuel went up again Mr Brown's a Wa**er !!

they do stealth tax us to death!!!!! No amount of caring seems to make any difference..

Yep. Hopefully we'll get revenge at the next election tho, not that the tories will cut fuel tax, but they dont scam the motorist as much as Labour do. I dont think i could take another term of falling speed limits and more scamera vans on every street corner! Satelite is next- they'll always know where you are and what speed you're doing , its already in the pipeline ,scary. Lets fook them out of it before it gets too bad! The transport minister recently did a review of all gatso scameras after growing complaints, the results were every one was situated according to the guidelines ie. accident blackspot and none should be removed. Who did he get this information from?

The regional scamera partnerships! LMFAO they must think we came down in the last shower.

On the men and motors program earlier , a caller said that gatsos were being placed along a newly built road near him that hadnt even opened yet. 'How can it be an accident blackspot?' he asked the authorities , and was told the contractors had a couple of accidents while building the road!

?? the tories good for motorists??

In 1993 Britain had the third cheapest fuel in Europe. The Tory Government hiked the tax up to 77% by 1997 - the dearest in Europe

its actually down slightly now to 73%, so not a chance on this earth the tories will be good for motorists,

they actually brought in a system, summat like escalation, cant remember now what it was called, the tories destroyed the mining industry, so what you may say, but that alone gave the power industries cart blanche to hike fuel bills at THEIR will

at the MOMENT petrol/diesel is rising with inflation, i reckon under the tories

you can kiss goodbye to owning large engine cars

always been a tory man myself.......because i like my money to go to me and not every other hard luck story in britain......i paid a lot less for motoring before labour got in thats for sure inflation or not. motorists are and always will be an easy target just look at how all the gas converts got shafted only 2 months ago yet people will always pay as theres no viable solution yet until we run out of fossil fuels and the big corps finally allow the use of technologies we have had for years anyway onto the market because by then they will have made the money.....in an ideal world every single car user in britain could take up the cause and stop using them for a week and use so called public transport and guess what would happen governments would fall but hey ho it aint going to happen and as im never having kids and dont have to worry about future events after im dead ill stick to gas guzzlers as long as i can because i buzz off motoring and dont give a shit about the future of the world in years to come because i wont be in it..........selfish maybe but at least i own up to it

No government is gonna cut fuel tax i agree.

But can you not see the difference driving on roads today compared to 10 years ago?

I didnt say tories would be good for motorists , just not as bad as this lot.

I think you mean the fuel tax escalator? But labour carried it on untill they couldnt get away with it any longer.

Are you happy with lower speed limits, motorway tolls, more gatso's, more talivans, having satelite fitted in your car to stop you speeding?

Its all coming under labour.

Tories 'say' they will scrap alot of gatso's and raise m-way speed limit. Freedom.

lol the tories will say anything to get back in power

(as did labour)

yes your right there is more restrictions on cars, but you only have to travel on motorways now to see why/what they are trying to do, when was the last time you travelled 100 miles say without hitting a traffic jam, and thats due to the amount of cars on our roads, and thats 'cos a hell of a lot more cars are now on the roads, more families have 2+ cars, under the tories how many people could afford more than one car??

i'm no great labour lover, but after seeing what the tories did to this country, i'm deffo no lover of their policies, ive not actually travelled on the toll motorway yet, but i'm due to go via birmingham soon, and i'd gladly pay the couple of quid to avoid spaghetti junction and an hours wait, as for the tories raising the speed limits, deffo needs doing, but how many stretches of them can we actually reap the benefits??

how many of us have got all kinds of gadgets in the house/car etc?

so you just know the goverments are gonna be using it to

as i said i'm not sure what the answer is, especially when we have all kinds of strict rules that make it harder to get a jap import car into this country

than it is to seek asylum

maybe if we stopped letting so many of those in, who only move here for the benefits and a free car, it would cure our traffic jams a bit, and leave them more cash to reduce fuel,

funny thing is, every time the goverment come up with a stricter measure to

evict over stayers, the tree hugging do gooders claim discrimination, and its usually the tories who are having a go first,

so Trevz if the tories could be believed to keep their word, id be behind you in the polling booth ;)
