i didn't think the auto supra came with a torson diff, suppose it could be fun thought, last manual supra i was in was a bit snap happy in 3rd gear even with the torson diff, was that a design fault though? it was only about 350bhp...

 

UK supras have LSD, jap imports have no LSD and silly 16 x 8's scary!

Mac 1 where have you got your boost controller mounted I hear that you had it mounted up behind your sun visor ? have you got any close up pics of it as I am lookin' for ideas to install a discreet t timer and boost controller.

You can't see it from the outside of the car,and when you drop the sun viser you can't see it from the inside;)

Long story,Chris@GetGreddy in our trader section was doing me a deal with these turbos,however his supplier in the US tells him that Greddy no longer do the 18G.

So then I see a pair that are up for sale that have been reconditioned in the US.After alot of thought I decided this was a not a good idea as if I was to have a problem with them It would be an engine out job again.

So I bought brand new ones direct from Japan.

 

If it is the 16G you want then speak to Chris@GetGreddy;)

If I was not so far away I would fit it for you no probs,you could do this yourself it's not a big job to do.

OK Mac, that would be cool. Have you ever had any probs with leaking fuel through the wide arch fuel filler extension ? I drop a load of fuel going around right hand bends, also if I am not holding the fuel pump dispenser on exactly the right angle it will also leak a little fuel onto the ground.

No probs with that at all mate,dont think it's been fitted right:(

 

It sounds to me that the rubber pipe that goes from the funnel to the stock tank neck is loose or even split.
