Some where between 500 and 600. Of course I could go 700+ with a single (thats UK hp not US:D) but what good is power if you cant get it down. I think a genuine 500 if more than enough, I'm after reliable, driveable power not wait until 5000rpm and all hell breaks loose! I've seen too many big hp RWD cars unable to get that power down to know that power isnt everything.

Ill wait and see before i comment on who will probably win once Mac's car is out as i dont have a clue what hes done to his car as its all confusing to me (but my moneys on him as i think he has the edge due to the fact that ZEDS r faster :D)!!!

 

We should have a betting session for when you guys actually decide to race!!!

So true,a serious powered RWD car is not the way to go for 1/4 mile sprints,If that's what your game is the buy a Pieline,why do you think they win all the 1/4 TOTB etc.

There is no substitute for 4x4 with serious power;) IMHO!

If I am not happy with this,then I will probably go Jun Stroker kit and have it all built in Japan,like my mate Peter has.

Why would I need a diff upgrade Mike? Big respect to Mac, alot of ££££££££ gone into that car and it will be good to see what a properly tuned Z can kick out. I agree that AWD is great for launches BUT if Calders Supra runs on the day we "might" see an upset skyline owner half way down the 1/4:D Or I'll run my Gixer 1000 and beat u all on the back wheel:D

i didn't think the auto supra came with a torson diff, suppose it could be fun thought, last manual supra i was in was a bit snap happy in 3rd gear even with the torson diff, was that a design fault though? it was only about 350bhp...

Mine stands me at about £8k at the mo, and as im not driving it at the mo, i'm saving about £100 a week on optimax, so all the more money for mods.
