My weekend has been rather a bit hectic and tiring.

Had to get the Zed ready for transporting all the way to Preston to Duffer's place.

Got up on Saturday morning and headed towards East London and started adjusting the suspension which took me loads of time whilst at the same time removing my rear spacers. The suspension was really hard as you dont have much space to turn the c spanner as its a bit akward, my arm was killing me by the end of it!!!

After getting that done i tried F U C King up the PTU but couldint get the damn Boost pipe off (my inexperience shows here) a quick call to Stuart (SMW1) who may i say was a great help, and i asked him if he could possibly come down and give me a hand which he kindly did (by the way mate im still waiting on that dry cleaning bill ;) i am sorry about getting your hands dirty but im useless at this stuff) Just wanna say a big thanks to him for taking time out to help me and to remind me how good these Zeds bloody look, his car looked and sounded awesome, the ICE install is well nice WELL DONE MATE!!!

Finally got everything else done on the car and called upon the AA who sent there guy round. At first i thought he was gonna figure it out as he had the boost pipe off but he started cleaning the throttle boddies

They then called a recovery truck which arrived after ages roughly about 6pm. The problem being he was only gonna take me to toddington services on the M1. At this moment im starting to think im gonna get to duffers well late  fortunately he was well nice about it and didnt mind as he was gonna be up all night getting pissed  :D

Eventually got picked up about an hour later by the second recovery truck, though i had to endure a coach full of german students asking me questions about what i had done to the car, i couldint understand a single word!!! :slap:

I never realised how far Preston was and boy did it take ages!!! Got their after 12 at night. Duffer was waiting for me outside and may i say he was a bit tipsy :duffer: (it must have been a bloody good night in, as him and all of his mates where completly pissed :duffer: ) Though i have to say they where still able to push the ZED half way up his street and on to his drive and still be jolly about it (some dodgy steering by me did it but i nearly crashed the thing into his house)

I also wanna say a big thanks to Duffer for being so patient with me and taking my car in on such short notice, hes a top bloke and even though he was a little tipsy he still listened to all my rambling about the Zed!!! CHEERS MATE!!!

Finally got to Birmingham after a lift from my uncle at 1am, arrived at 3am and decided to stay the night as i was to tired to make my way back to London. Arrived back on sunday evening at about 6pm and went straight to work. Just arrived home and im shattered so im off to sleep!!!

Fas

P.S. Andy give my apoligies to your neighbours for waking them up by causing such a racket on your road and thanks to your mates for helping out, im gonna wait for your call to let me know how my Baby(zed) is getting along!!!:p

Top man Duff - if anyone can get it sorted it's him. But I think it's gonna take him ages to put those pannels back into shape m8. ;)

Tim :D

I was in Preston this weekend as well. I 'll also be there next weekend if you need anything taken up.

Fas,this is normal for Duff he spends 95% of his time completly pissed, this is why he takes around six weeks to change something as simple as a PTU:D;)
