why is everyone getting mr2's?

 

common problems on a 10+ year old mr2

 

1) Radiator pipes will derade and leak, not a problem on most cars but the mr2 rad pipes run the entire length of the car, they also run about the petrol tank, cost of pipes is about £300 and it takes about 6 hours to drop the petrol tank, replace the pipes and refit.

 

2) Gear linkage - the gear stick is connected to the gearbox by a metal rod, after a lot of hard gear changes over the years it will finally give up one day, again this runs under the petrol tank and is about £150 for the part and 6 hours labour.

labour is cheap however, you can book your car into most Tony&guys and reularly top up your conditioner, most places recommend vidal sasoon.

Good build quality though! Oh no sorry there imports arnt they, I can see trouble ahead!:D

YES! The materials used are different. Am I doing TOTB3? Maybe, depends if I can get all the bits bolted on and get a qualifying pass done in time. I think to get on the Supra's ten you have to be posting a regular 12 dead or under.
