Went upto Engine Advantages today as Pete has lost my dyno chart. Have to say they're very good, the guy just popped out of the car he was tuning and did me a re-print. Probably the first time I have gone somewhere in my 300zx and not had to wait ages (top bloke) :dance:

 

Anyhew here are the dyno results, the first being from the SE RR day and the second from the other week, think Si's was done on the same day. You'll see bizarrely enough the car ends up with less power (but with no det). But it feels much better, Pete said to me last night that the car was overfuelling which is why it felt like it was holding back all the time. I don't mind having the less power as the zed feels good to drive, even after a week of thrashing it about. (Although you can definatly feel the coolers getting heat soaked).

 

Well' I'll be stuck around the 300RWHP mark for a while now cos I'me skint, but the next thing to go on will be bigger intercoolers, and hopefully that'l sort out the breathing of the car as that's it limit at the moment, according to Pete. Injectors will have to come later than that.

 

Oh well, gonna wash the zed now cos it's all manky.

Car is stil running at 16psi although at the higher revs I think around 6500k upwards the boost tails off to 14.

 

As I have SE maxflow intake, ported heads and full decatted exhaust system, the only thing left is the intercoolers as mine are standard. Pete had originally suggested vernier pullies for the cams but when I reminded him of the coolers he said it's most likely that.

 

If anyone else has any ideas please put them forward.

I used Paint Show Pro 8, but any ole version will do. Reduce the image size down to 621 x 847 pixels, then save the file as a standard encoded jpg with a compression factor of 28. :)

hope this works real whelk when it comes to I.T
