Second I really don't give a flying **** who likes me.I was asked to do this job and I foolishly accepted it! For what? to build up a trader section to help members of this club get good deals.

I am just getting ****in sick of late for taking the blame on editing polls and removing sigs.

IMHO, when something is offensive to someone, it should be removed. I don't mean just wind up, but deeply offensive. I didn't get to see the picture mentioned but if someone was offended by it, then it was right for the moderators to remove it.

On the accusations front. If a mod edits a post, he/she should also mention his/her name and the reason for editing.

Simon I think you will find that Duff removed his own post , as for Iain always deleting and removing posts , he is not the only moderator on the forum !!!!!!! IMHO I do not think it is fair that Iain has to made to keep his mouth shut in order to kep the moderator position , I for one would like to see the old Mac back with the sense of humour he bought with it. I also don't think people realise the amount of time and effort Iain puts in to this board with the exeption of Mike Grooves a damn sight more than the chairman or the other mods put together.

 

I am pretty sure Simon that Iain would be more than happy to accept your appologies mate.

I personally think we all need to calm down with the posting of other people photoshopped. I have to admit I was one of the worst and posted photoshopped pictures up of people becuase I thought it was funny.

 

I do understand now (after many months of Lord of the blings and various other pic, now what with the baby pics and all :D). I personally don;t mind too much as I'm sure no one means any harm by it. But I do know for a fact that it can get a little silly and the person getting photoshopped can get a little upset by it all. I mean I did :(.

 

I would just like to appologise to a few people who I have taken the piss out of in public by misused of photoshop.

I'm going to put my photoshop skills (or lack of them) to good use by doing signatures and animated gif files from now on :D.

I don't think that posting pics of people is the issue although these can sometimes go a little to far , I think Iain can take a joke aswell as anyone on the forum but can not retaliate like everyone else on the forum due to the position he holds. This is more to do with the fact that Ian was accused of something he did not do :(

I'm sure Macca can take a joke and I'm aware that he can't retaliate but this is not what I was taking about.

 

My post, was to make a public appology to people who I have photoshopped in the past.

 

I think posting of photo shopped pictures in general has gotten out of hand, this is just one example. I think it has become an issue.

 

Not many pictures of you on the forums, so you may not seen my view point, but photoshopped picures are now even moving over to 300zxclub.com which really pissed me off. A jokes a joke but there is a line.

 

That's why I appologised to everyone I may have offended and hope to start a fresh.

LOL *I* removed the pic and *NO* I wasn't threatened. The thread got out of hand so I put an end to it! The real reason I removed it was because macca rang me and thought it really suited him - he was actually leaving to go to the hairdressers ffs :eek: ;) :D
