When I bought my 300 I had it up on a ramp and saw a plastic pannel in front of the passengers side front wheel on the underside of the car was broken.

It's sort of shattered a bit and hanging down but still roughly in place.

You can see it hanging down from a distance.

I'll get it replaced sometime but should I do it really soon for any reason? Could it be letting water in anywhere or anything?

It's roughly (I think) the size of a cornflakes box, and in front of the passenger side front wheel on the underside of the car.

Cheers peeps

sorry to hear about your wotsit

Hi Craig

I think you are discribing the passenger side splash guard.

It also has an air vent in it to direct air to the brakes.

The Z is low & all the splash guards are vulnerable to damage.

Arthur

I know the splasguards, help keep crap from off the road out from under your bonnet, i know when mines been off it the fan blows leaves on the garage floor about alot more than when its on.

If yours is damaged, untill you get another, id either secure it in some way or remove it completly, if it looks like its hanging down when the cars still imagine what its doing with 100mph wind batting around it.
