I want to mount one on the rear spoiler to get a 'down the flanks of the car' look. I'm a bit worried about the camcorder falling off !

Speak to SMW1 he had one fitted to his windscreen or top of the dash so will probably be able to help Mark

Actually I was going to ask you about video editing after I've done the day as I think you did the video of the Brighton bash last year.

I have used board cams for a few projects and a good way to make the cam more versatile is to use a 2.4ghz transmitter and reciever or if you are loaded get the wireless cam . You can get them from maplins but a good site for this kind of stuff is

By using wirless it saves all the hassle of running wires into the car. You will need a recorder with AV inputs so that you can plug the reciever in.
