I have a split at the edge of one of the big solid rubber pipes going to the throttle bodies and i'm also getting a leak from somewhere else in the system.

I've seen some nice coloured pipes somewhere but can't find 'em now... any ideas where I can get a set?

My silver Z has a lot of red details on it so preferably red pipes...

Any tricks for finding a leak as it's difficult getting your head under the bonnet at full boost!!

 

I'm sure Samco probably do a boost pipe set for silly money..

 

Alternatively, slip Smithy some cash for his stainless hard pipe set (like I have just done ) and get red pipe sections to go with it, and that should look pukka..

Ahh bugger Chris mate, I knew I would have needed that Fast Car bible of tuning parts catalogue from my room before I left this morning!!!

 

They listed some really pukka piping in some nice colours obviously with the suppliers tel. number etc.

 

Someone on here will sort you though no doubt.

Mmmmm those stainless pipes do look rather nice!

How much cash will Mr Smithy require and do they come with the coloured fittings?

£210+a fiver postage, and yes, that comes with the coloured hose (defo has blue, I believe he has red in as well)..

I've found the Samco ones on Z Centre site for £79.00

They look nice too.

Chris, the stainless ones look the dogs nuts on ya motor, trust me they brighten up a rather dull/dark looking engine bay, any colour hosing ya like too, not cheap but cheaper and better quality than HKS, Smithy

I bought an intercooler-to-Throttle-Body pipe by mistake (for the left side only). Standard black - sorry!

 

It's here if you want to make me an offer - I got it for £40 from Nissan.

Thanks anyway but it's the right one I need.

Otherwise i'd have it.

Thats assuming we are looking from the front of the car...
