As some of you may know, last year i had a big bike accident, i have already had a number of operations but now it's time for the big one. I was given an ultematum(sp) either have this op or lose my leg.......

I have got to have a external brace round the top of my leg and it will go all the way down to my shin. I will have to keep this on for around 6 months, so i no billing or shows for me this year.

I'm hoping i'll only be in hospital a couple of weeks, so i can get home and read all the get better soon messages...LOL :o

Just thought i'd let you all know

owch - sorry to hear that mate

I sold my bike after my mate killed himself. Glad I did, I never had an accident but most of my other mates have had accidents and various body parts in plaster. I work in a hospital now, and see plenty of accidents down to bikes - scary stuff

Rich........wishing you all the very best mate. And fingers crossed for a speedy recovery.

Take it easy mate.

Good luck Chunk - I'll miss your viewpoint on here so hurry back.

All the best chunk, this is the best way to get your leg repaired and I'm glad they are sorting it out quickly for you. When you are out do you mind having a word with my dad? he's been put on list for same operation and is worrying about the fixator.

Best wishes for a fast recovery

Cheers guys.
