just thought i would let all of you guys know we were testing the zed today to try and find out why i couldnt get any decent boost levels and we blew piston 6 :cry:

 

 

i know its not uncommon - but i'm well gutted.

you can be suer that i wont do a stock re-build and plam it off as a 440 rwhp car though

Dude!!! :eek: I didn't really know what to say earlier. I still don't. I've heard the: "yeah, Pete's blown up your lump on the rollers" thing from Bob so many times, and I /really/ didn't expect to come back and find your car busted! I take it the problem they were looking for still didn't get resolved? Did Pete give you any idea what happened? Just to much peak boost? You've gotta go forged... you wouldn't fork out for a rebuild and not, right? I guess you'll be joining the Mondeo club for a while then? :( I'm sorry for you this has happened.

I thought the reason you couldnt make boost was due to the turbos being busted?
