Received the following e-mail the other day and content explains all the lady is looking for a Z32 of any colour to act as her wedding car

 

be really good if some one could help out

Russ gave me your email address to get in contact with you. As you probably gathered, I am not after a traditional wedding car to take me to the registry office - I fell in love with a brown 300 in our local sports car garage - nobody wanted her because she was brown! Anyway, we are getting married on the 3rd of April at Guildford registry office, but my parents live in Aldershot so I would need picking up from there. I would need to fit myself and my sister in with you and then myself and my new hubbie in to go to our reception in a village called Tilford. If anyone could do this, I would obviously be happy to pay for your chauffering services, but I was wondering if you could email me a piccie of your car in the meantime.

 

I hope that this would be something you could arrange for us, but if you can't or we are too far away, I will understand!

I have to say that I have never seen a brown Zed before.

 

Anyway,

 

I am quite local to Guildford, I live in Frimley. I would be happy to lend my services if you get stuck but will have to check what is on at work as I am a chef and work some funny hours.

 

My car is in the body shop being made nice at the moment so will send you some pics in about a week whne it is done.

 

I know there is a few Zed owners within easy reach of Guildford so I am sure you will get someone if I am not able to make it.

 

I will spread the word for you ;)

I hope you would not mind being a little cramped up as the Zed is not that well endowed when it comes to Passenger space. Its certainly no Bentley!

when I first received email thought it was odd when she asked for about a brown Z32 as i have never seen one either and then phoned her asking whether it was a 280ZX she was talking about but she assured me it was a Z32 she wanted in any colour but hads seen a metalic brown Z32 in her local garage

maybe you could give her a phonecall ( better not say ring) so she sees some responce

Met brown would probably have been a convertible import.

Thanks for your offer and for your quick reply. I am having a dress, but no big merangue, but we will pour ourselves in if we have to. Like you say - who wants a Bentley - borrrriiinngg.

 

As long as I turn up in something different I don't care! What colour is your Z? I think the Brown one was an import but I got a bit lost when the conversation turned to fish - it was in Magnum in North Camp - vastly overpriced and underloved just 'cos she was brown!

Thanks for your reply. My email is molly@memorisethis.com. I spoke to the guy at Magnum and he sold it to someone in Kent...gutted! It had been coming down in price every few months and he sold it just as it was getting near my budget.

You're so sweet!!! It is really nice that all you guys are so friendly! We are getting married on the 3rd of April, Saturday and would need someone for about an hour or so to drive me and my sister to the Registry office and then my new hubbie and me to our reception.
