I, well my dad, very quickly sprayed the headlight panel to see what the colour would look like. Hmmmmmm, I like it a lot. :D

 

It is really hard to get a pic of the colour as most of them turned out blue on the digital camera. :confused:

 

You really have to see it as the pics dont do it justice.

 

What you people think of the colour?

 

 

 

P.S.

 

I know there is loads of dust on it. We did it quickly as a test, the garage door and back door was open creating a draft, the air line filter wasnt on, the garage hadn't been sweeped and washed out, etc. etc.

The laqure also run because my dad forgot to turn the spray down. But that is why we did a test peice. :D

Well all depends on what you want Stu,IMHO I think it's a girls colour :nono:

The colour is actually deeper than that.

 

But every one is entitleted to their oppinion. ;)

 

But it is less girly than the pink the paint at the moment is turing in parts ;)

It is a really hard colour to take a picture of.

 

Its more like this in colour but you cant see the detail when its like that on the camera but you can when you see it.

Back when I was a spotty oik, I sprayed my old Honda NSF125 a similar colour to that. Then I was able to go on & on about the purple throbbing monster between my legs!!!

 

God I was a nob!!!! :slap:

Very good choice, but then again anythings better than red :).

I have a feeling purple is faster too.

I will do a scientific test when its finished. I have a 1/4 mile time when it was red. I will do one when it is purple and see the what the difference is.

I reckon it looks absolutely stunning mate go for it. I have just painted my Z in Chameleon flip paint that flips from purple through to blue, magenta and finally to a coppery orange. Gotta say the purple is the most dominant and impressive colour overall.

Its similar to the Midnight purples on the Skylines isnt it?

I looked at the midnight purple and I though it was too dark. I had discussions on the GTR forum about it. There are 3 midnight purples. One was OK, one was nice but the purple didnt show too much and the third just looked black.

 

Chunk, it is pearl. Its hard to take a picture of the colour as digital pictures keep bringing it up blue. I wonder if speed cameras make it show up blue. May be able to appeal saying my car is purple ;)

Body wise? I am going to be different and be stock ;)

 

Engine wise, its going to be modified quite a bit.
