Scoobynet have got a fastest car contest on May bank holiday, Monday 31st May. It's limited to 100 scoobies (about 1 housing estate's worth ;) ) but other marques are welcome; so far they've got a 355, a Lambo Gallardo, a Tuscan and the usual RX7s, Evo's, GTiRs etc.

Best 1/4 mile last year was 11.74 at 115mph

Best top speed (over 1.25 miles) was 170.7

i doubt weve got a zed round here that will worry that 1/4 mile time

Apparently it was running over 500bhp (from a 2 litre engine!!). I get the feeling it'll either have broken since, or had the power turned down a bit ;)

If it's a dry day we should be able to damage quite a few egos.

Some body has 2 go and show them what a Z is made of

ill be there, it's just round the corner for me, plus i know 4 other zed owners who live near me too!!!!!!!!!!!

Subaru Impreza's (Scoobies)

Are they ? Didn't know that , Why's that then ?

Well the original Scoobies are XR2i's

No I meant why did Srae say the XR2i's were the original Scoobies ? (I know the deal with Subaru rhyming with Scooby Doo).

I guess it's coz all the young boy racer's can afford them now, and there's thousands of them about :D

Ha, you should try to talk MACCA into going if he's got his car back by then - I should think it would eat the competition for Breakfast!
