det sensor will be the same, along with the IAA and AAC plugs too unfortunatly.

I suppose this would contribute to hesitation and poor idling?

It probalby would, but strangly enough the other connectors you mentioned where OK even thought they where the same type of connector on it.

I was unlucky i guess then , every single connector in that style had green crusty stuff inside. I've heard that its to do with the high frequency of the signal (in the case of injector connectors), but that wouldn't explain why the IAA and AAC had green stuff on mine?? O well, they're the last two which I've yet to change.

I got a new harness and new injectors so everything should have a good contact again.

Yeah sulphur is yellow lol - thats copper oxide ;)

Did you go to school?

Yeah, it's copper corrosion, that... my ECU temp sensor looks similar! (But the cockpit gauge sensor doesn't... and that's all of six inches away. What's all that about then?)

If you reckon it's sulphur, you'd best stop using DERV instead of Optimax ;)

oh and is that a crack in your intake there?

The brown line you can see is the plenum gasket. The other dubious mark to the left is one of the visual 'features' from the original machining :) Lots of casting marks and flashing, but the dents are probably grip points from where factory mills clamped the plenum before facing.
