How much is it costing you??

And if you 'search' you will find all the answers to your questions, plus the buyers guide is a great source of information!!

;)

Matty.

I would be very careful cos that just sounds too cheap!!!

Vijay

That does sound too cheap, especially with all those goodies you mention on it!!

Get it checked out completely, if possible get an independant garage who know there Z's to have a look or take someone from around your area who is a member of these boards (who knows what's what) to go with you......

.......although there are some bargains out there to be had I don't think this is one of them, I could always be wrong though.

Look though the buyers guide on this forum, it will give you lots of help.

Matty.

if it runs but is lumpy get them to do a service on it and run it in for a hundred miles or so, offer to pay if you end up buying maybe...

it sounds to cheap really, i'd expect that to be in region of 9-10k.

would ask myself why its been stood for so long, obviously the owner hasnt want to run it, trust me if u had one in good order u would be out of it, bear in mind a new set of tubs can cost 2k plus at least, and a full engine over haul probaly around the same, go have a look and a drive and make your own mind up, if your happy then u got the bargain of the century, these beast are a complex and require lots of preventative maintenance, youd be looking a cam belt, water pump, ancil belts to start if its been stood that long, thats 400 quid, tyres on those size gonna bee 200 quid a peice, fuel around 15-20 mpg, air con may need regassing, compresser checking being stood that long also, be wary u could by a money pit
