It gets a bit windy round here - Burnham On Sea (near weston super mare)

the wind comes straight up the Bristol channel and hits land at about 100mph. Was driving along the seafront just now and ..whoosh.. got overtaken by a massive flying section of J.D.Whetherspoons fence. It kinda done a loop infront of me , scary, i thought shit its coming back!

That's nuffink mate!!! A couple of years after the 'Hurricane' of 1987, we had another 'near' hurricane. I was on my CBR600, on the way to the garage to get it serviced. I was at some traffic lights in Staines (West Side :rofl: ) town centre when one of those MASSIVE advertising boards got ripped off it's mountings by the wind. It came rushing accross the road at me, and about 10 feet before it actually hit me (and probably killed me! :eek: ) it split in half and I watched as it went past either side of me!! Found I was sitting a couple of inches higher in my seat after that!! :shock:
