Just a note for radars

I was talking to the Tec guy at Snooper the other day and he mentioned about places to mount the radar detectors.

Some that are mounted towards the bottom of the dash but removed for security reasons leaving the suckers in place have been known to mark the dash, as the suckers act as a small prism and can burn the dash!!

So, if you have them move them up a bit or remove the suckers when you take it out of the car!!

So, Bob, don't fall asleep in your car with just the suckers mounted high up, you'll have a nice set of alien burns on your forehead by the morning... LOL

An alternative is to use the velco on the dash top, I stick it on the flat area near the door pillar. I'm not sure how effective it is there, behind a wiper... but it's easy to install/hide from there.

A shame these new snoopers don't have an adjustable bracket like my old one... you have to bend the S5 one each time you use it in a different car as the 300 window is so slanted... how long before it snaps! Hence ---> Velco time
