Just came back from K's as i was passing buy and thought id drop in!!!

 

One of the first Zeds he did and its about ready!!!

 

The lucky owner should be picking it up 2night!!!

 

He has'int gone as crazy as me but i love the colour!!!

 

Cant wait till my car gets ready!!!

Very Nice I like it!!

 

Never liked the veilside front bumper though, the hood scoop could cause the spark and injector connectors to get a bit wet!!

OMG superb colour. Looks pretty mental aswell. Fair play to the owner it will be nice to see it in the flesh.

It would be nice to see it with decent wheels on, somehow the originals just dont quite fill those arches

I'm not sure if they would fit. I've got the same rear panel as in the above pics that use the fiat lamps, those ones at the Z centre fit the standard size light panels............................

The wide arches look good - I particularly like the line that extends onto the doors, but the rear bumper looks a bit cheap and I have to agree with the comments above about the front - just a bit too rice!

 

But I want to see it finished as well!

I noticed the rears were different, but its still not enough

It belongs to some1 else who came to K and asked him to do the job for him!!!

 

The alloys he's got are the new Azevs not the 1s that Mac has got the absolute brand new 1s!!!

 

Vij the lights im gonna have to find out about but i think they can be purchased from K!!!

 

Im not going for Lambo doors right now as i dont think the kit is strong or reliable enough for the 300zx door!!! Im gonna hold about and see for a better kit from america!!!

 

What it was, is that the guy came to K without alloy wheels or any other exterior bits, so K had to work with original equipment on the zed as he couldint line or measure anything up. Thats why the car sits so high and the rear bumper looks funny as the exhaust was done last of all (it should have been done first so the bumper would line up with it!!!) But for what K had, i reckon if hes this good then i cant wait for my ZED!!! :D

 

When the doors open that is how they would be as they where playing about with the kit and thought it to be at its safest at this position!!! (one of the main reasons why im not going for it till K can get a more reliable kit)

I would like to see this in the flesh....looks great, but i really dont like the tailgate tub (is that what its called :confused: ) I think that really spoil's the look of the car, Just mt opinion obviously :rolleyes:

its all about personal taste and i think it looks minging the rear end is way too over the top and the bonnet looks like it belongs on a civic....nice colour though and i like the lambo doors but a no no on the rest

Well as i say some will like it some dont.

 

The rear end on my car is alot more lairy!!!

 

I dont like his front bonnet neither, but its what the customer asks is what the customer gets!!!

 

I personally like the Tailgate Tub but every1 to there own taste!!!

 

Im making my 300ZX as lairy as possible!!! At the end of the day its what eva tickles my fancy!!!

I personally think the tub looks ok on that car, it gives it a more bulky look. Although I'm not too keen on Wide Arches, I think the tub looks much better with the wide arch than it doe son the stock arch.

 

So what's the progress on yours Fas ? Any more pics of the recent stages ?.

Also where is the Paint yard is it near K ?

Yeh its about 10 mins drive away its near some sort of industrial area of a dual carriage way theres a HSS Hire shop near it!!!

If you wanna pop down im gonna probably be heading down there either this saturday or the next depends on how much work they get done!!!

Iv also got 2 other forum members to take down so im trying to organise where i can get them both to come down at once so i can get them a better deal on whateva they wanna do!!!

 

Basically the sprayers have taken on to much and the orange zed should be out by now, theyve got a modified civic left to prep (but not spray as it has more internal work needed) and then they will start on my car!!! fingers crossed!!!

I think the colour is fantastic. I toyed with the idea of spaying mine this colour. I have to admit that I've only just become a wide arse convert after seeing the Viper nosed car. (If I had converted earlier mine would have had it allready) Sorry to say though I think the front end is hiddious , but the workmanship looks very good. Hope you get your motor back soon.

I wouldint say its that expensive but if youre gonna fit a bodykit you might aswell go that little bit extra!!!
