Is there no interest in this event ??......there will be quite a few GTOs there including me :)...... so it would be nice to see some of you 300 guys there too.

cheers Martyn

Here's an up to date list of cars taking part in this event, NOTE the lack of 300's in there.....surely there's some "fast" 300's out there that could compete!! :)

A lot of the people who have modified cars have them off the road at the moment.

Plus £30 to have a run down a run way is a little steep personally

It won't just be one run......at the last TSC. I got 3 runs in, and that was only because that was all I wanted to do but I think most people got between 4-6 runs in and that was with one car at a time, this time there will be two lanes in use just like santapod and elvington (aka TOTB) :)

it was 3-4 runs last year - think about it, how much is the pod to run 3 times for just quarter times? Where else do you get the chance to test a 1.5m top speed trap time?

Its a great event - and not just modded cars can run ;)

Would be good to see at least a couple of zeds in the fray

arry, isn't the top speed trap at 1.7 miles, it was last year?

thought it was 1.57 miles but could be wrong. Either way its enough to give the car a good whuppin to 150+ :D

Another thing to tempt you all - BURGERS, there's BURGER VANS

If it is 1.57 miles Im not going as mine takes exactly 1.58 miles to reach top speed

I'd like to go and race, but as my zed is for sale I'll wait til closer to the deadline before confirming :)

If I still have the car by the end of the month I'll buy a ticket.

It can't take that long to get to 120 mph, can it??? :D

Arse! Can I say arse, or does it just come up ****? I'm interested - I was talking to crazy_eddie about this flippin months ago even tho I had no idea when I'd get my car back, let alone running any decent kind of power. I get the feeling he won't go cos he's Captain Det at the moment (det, not debt). I'm saying arse cos I'll be doing a top speed challenge on a snowboard that day. Sounds like a good event.

If my motor is all sorted complete with my new Nitrous setup by then I'll come along possibly with another mate who has a Z

Yep if i have got my z by then i may well tag along too, whats the deadline for tickets? anybody know

Hi speedfreak, the cut of date is the 28th feb..... so come on lads this will be a great event and im sure you'll do well!!

Martyn

...I want to come along and spectate (300NA) - can I pay on the gate?

cheers

Jack

As arry said you can pay on the gate to spectate but if you want to take part in the event you must send your cheques NOW!!!!

See you all there.

def

Deffo going, and taking the ZED. Still unsure if i'll run, I still need to find somewhere to test 5th gear out, see if I can get the car off the clock quickly. Mind you I beat many cars just staying in 4th LOL!!

There must be someone on here whos game to run their car. There were a few cars running @ Santa Pod, TSC is miles better. Plus just before you turn off the A12 there's a Shell Station selling Optimax.

And there's BURGER VANS

Need I say more, it's a good day out, we could at the very least turn into some sort of meet.

Although if none of us runs the other car clubs will probably take the piss :xxx:

Ooooh shit forgot about this - where do I send a cheque to? One driver (me!) and one spectator please :)

Or paypal if you can?

Cheers

Pete
