I've got a bit of a leak on one of the heater matrix pipes from the engine bay to the back of the matrix - I managed to get a socket onto the screw to tighten it up but I dont think thats done the trick - is is an easy hose to get hold of and is it worth changing the Nissan clips for jubilee clips for better clamping effectiveness?

Part numbers for both hoses :)

92410 - 30P00

92400 - 30P00

Dunno which one you need, but its one of them ;)

how much water is going to come pouring out if I pull them off to change them?

Not that much, as its near the top of the circuit.

Top up and bleed through the rad afterwards as usual remember, running your car, topping up more etc, you shouldnt need much tho TBH.

Best to order both & change both if doing one.

One goes under & across the other.

Even Nissan have difficulty seeing which one to order on their diagrams.

They are a PITA to change but I did both mine in an hour or two!

No you are better off using spring clips, and drain and flush your coolant system while you are at it!

Already drained and flushed it and refilled it with antifreeze - which is why I'm getting some leaks now!

Too high a concentration of coolant has been known to cause small leaks, and by simply reducing the concentration the leaks can go away.

Obviously finding and fixing the leaks is the best way.

But yeah - do both hoses.
