..............And I'm stuck!!

All that snow which is now ice has got me stuck.......plus the camber od the road and the hill I live on!! I have to go up the hill to get out to work!!

I can't go up due to the ice, the weight of the Z, the hill and the camber of the road......I keep slipping towards the kerb.....

I'm not trying anymore.........

Bad one Matty.

I decided to use the wife's car today but it looks like it's clearing up a bit. If you have to use your Z, load up the boot with loads of weight, and if you have a UK TT, turn on the rear shockers!

Took my 2 hours to get home yesterday. This journey should only take 50 mins. I know some people got it even worse.

Take care.

Well, I drove back last night, in the Zed (as normal) and drove it to work again this morning, no problems, I think of the sideways bit as a bonus :D:D:D

Yeah, don't risk it Matty.

In the Golf I couldn't even pull away from the kerb this morning, forwards or backwards! I was "iced in". Had to pour hot water on the road to melt some of the ice. That will have frozen now and some old Granny has probably just fallen over on it.

Oh well, as long as I got away ok.

Turn on the rear shockers, How do you do that?

On UK TT's you can pull the hand brake up one click and this makes the rear shocks go all stiff, so I am led to believe! :)

The Americans get a button to activate it.

Tried to move it again, as it doesn't look to bad now........but no joy, still spinning and moving sideways.........I am not going into work today due to me being stuck!!

Em managed to get her MGF out very carefully, guess Z's are just to bloody heavy to drive backwards up a hill with a big camber forcing you into the kerb......

I don't think my boss will be happy, even though I just spoke to him and he sounded okay about it.

Matty.

I've heard Pete Shrimp loves it!

Its the only time he has enough power to spin the back wheels.

Heard the NA boys are out too......."oh yeah, it can go sideways!"

Only joking - be careful everyone!

No I'm not going to work today -not because of the Zed it's warm tucked away in the garage. No as a gardener there's no blooming work!!! Not a good winter for gardeners. Never mind Monday week we're off to Eilat and then it's roll on Spring!!!!

Geoff.

Gardener? Great I need someone to come and do a full ground force attack. Banned from using the Zed today but the boss says I can have her Freelander if I want to go out.

Took the short person to school this AM but they locked the gates and said we could keep him for the day. Saw two cars slide off the road on the short walk. One S class (silly man) and one RangeRover - silly girl how on earth did she manage that.

Go easy all, and no more bending Zeds
