Wondered if you'd like to share your greatest error of judgement. Here's mine. It's a sad tale. Traded in my 1.1 Fiesta for it. Drove it. Broke it at 142 MPH on a private test track in Scotland. New engine, turbo and huge bill. Broke it for good finally in Norfolk. Drove it into some holidaymakers Rover along a country lane, luckily they didn't get hurt. A good 6 years ago now. Not proud. Very painful.

Any more? :mac1:

Oh Sh*t that's the wife. Better go and see if she's still there, she'll be a bit peed off by now.

I said to her "well we might as well get married"

Without any fear of correction, my worst error of judgement ever.

i was 21 at the time, just bought a mk2 supra 2.8i 10 days later it was wrote off, tpft insurance 1800 quid down, was fun while it lasted, spun it in the wet not used to the rear wheel drive and power, hit curbs both sides of the road, took a roadsign out, bent all 4 wheels took the roof, both rear quarters and they ripped the front spoiler off getting it in the tow truck

First car...205 diesel (drum brakes!)...decide to go cross country round the bottom of the M1 cos it was gridlocked as ever - due to torrential rain on this occasion. That's the first part of the error. (Dark, just me, so no navigator with a torch!)

Second part is tanking down a B-road having made above poor decision, not single track but kind of one and a half lanes rather than your actual two. Therefore concentrating on the road position of the car quite hard and not devoting my full attention on road ahead. The T-junction rather caught me by surprise especially since there was no signage whatsoever... percussion braked and ended up with the nose of the car about two inches away from the drainage ditch on the opposite side of the road I was supposed to be giving way to!

I've not had a mega moment in a Z yet touch wood! (Although plenty of moments I would have considered mega moments a couple of years ago)

Only other one was self induced, mucking about in Trafford Park in the daily driver which suffers torque steer at the best of times... some strategically placed diesel on a roundabout nearly packed the car up for shipping nice and tidy in a container in the World Freight Centre! Rescued with a thoughtful application of throttle steering, just glad I didn't panic and brake!

(I often drive through there instead of plodding down the M602, get v bored of that!)

Two... that's not bad for four years of 30k a year is it? Especially since the first one was not long after I got the car.

Oh yeah and I've triggered the ABS after spotting white vans on bridges many many times...

Greatest error of judgement..................Easy.

It was going out on March 21st 2003 on my Ducati............check avatar.

Fecking Mondeo drivers (soz shrimpy)

Rich

Believing her when she said she was 16 :(
