I have an import 1990 TT Auto. Pleased with the performance. Even more pleased when I fitted the exhaust and Stillen induction kit. What is next. what boost can I safely run? Apexi? Any help would be great. Also anywhere near to Surrey. Also paint shops and bodykits. How long to fit and prices for a respray. I need a guide.

ECU ypgrade I think!

I think about 11 or 12psi max on a standard ECU but it's risky.

Get a JWT ECU and you should be able to run about 15psi on stock injectors without running into detonation. You can up the boost with either boost jets (small restrictors in the actuator pipes) or an Apexi AVC-R/Blitz boost controller etc. Boost controllers give you a smoother boost pattern, less spikes etc.

Cheerz guys but how easy is it to fit a new ECU upgrade.

Its a doddle, disconnect battery pull up the passenger carpet, remove 4 screws, remove wood panel unbolt the old ECU put new one in, reconnect battery, do a diagnostic to check all is well. Pujt old ECU in post to Coz.

Boost jets are a little more tricky as it's a bitch to gets the waste pipes off without skinning your knuckles.

The JWT ECU came with comprehensive instructions.

JWT ECU seems the way to go. Where can I get one and how many pennyZ will it cost me.

The group buy was fron Ultimate Zed (See links section) Coz Ceh was our man.

Cost is circa $600 but watch out for VAT and import duty. You need to leave $600 deposit with him till you return your stock ECU too.

Simon

Apparantely you can get just the chip for something like £100 and get someone else to socket the ECU board and then do the bleed valves yourself. Should save hundreds that way.

Thanks guyZ. May well do this as the next stage but what sort of increases should I see. Also anyone have the number of web address for the Z Center. Can't find it anywhere. Want a respray and rear wing.

Tim

Check out the links section on the forums main page. There is a link to the Zed centre there.

Also check out JWT's web site. they have info on what power gains you get.

Seez ya
