Right, thats it for January, I've spent far too much this month.

I only got the car on 29th December and I've already put £109 worth of fuel in it, and used it all up. I've also brought 2 new rear shocks, cheers Luke ;) , and now a full SS exhaust, again cheers Luke ;) .

Total spend this first month = £695 (aprox, with some other bits)

+ ive gota pay to have the shocks and zorst fitted yet

Ive only had the car 3 weeks, bloody hell

And theres still things to sort out,

Air-Con control consel to change

Passenger central locking to investigate

And the tyres to look into, as they are the wrong size, do I change em or keep em till they wear out?

Apart from that, It's the best thing I've ever brought :D

I love it.

Step one: buy Z

Step two: get more credit cards

Step three: repeat step 2 until

Step four: the bank repossess your house.

 Sad but true - a great (but expensive hobby!)

Hope you're still enjoying your Z despite the expense.

Dave

Took delivery of mine on the 1st of December, put £49 of fuel in. Split the rad on the way back from the garage. Wait four days, off it goes on a low loader - wait two weeks driven back from their garage by their mechanic. Put £40 of fuel in it and book it in to a different garage to get the cam belts changed, hifi sorted, new waterpump (front of engine off may as well) and new rear shocks plus some bulbs, wiperblades and other odds and ends - £650. I've now owned a Zed for six weeks, driven it for about three hours and spent about £800. On a pence per mile ratio this is better than running a twin petrol 32' power boat but not by a lot!

Dave :hyper:

Cheers Dave - but it was cheapish to buy! Get it back on Monday and then I'll start burning some fuel!

Whats the heading on this thread....................'Spent too much'.................and what have I done today........................I've gone out and spent some more

Well when taking out the interior trim, ready for the shockers being fitted, I noticed someone had replaced the rear speakers. So when I removed the door card to check the passenger door lock solinoid, I thought Id see what had been fitted to the front speakers............................. Bugger all, they were standard ones, and it was knacked.

So a trip into town and now its fitted with a nice set of Kenwood 110 watt speakers in the front. Good job too, cus when I removed the drivers side one, it had deteriated completley.

And some more petrol :D lol
