The speedo dial on my '95 import only goes up to 115mph.

 

Because of the SVA test the dial face was changed to mph, but at top speed (still restricted) the needle is all the way round to where 180/190 would be!?

 

I assume some kind of 'box' has been fitted to make the needle read as it does but what and where?

 

Has anybody had this on their Zed?

Yeah, mine came with a 320kph speedo, but the previous owner had bought a 115mph speedo unit (not just the dial face) to install but never did. I swapped them over a week or two and it automatically read correctly. But it does look wierd now!

Am I going to need to replace the speedo or do just get a "black box"?
