I voted Supra, I love the skyline supra and rx7 equally tbh. But the supra takes the prize, The skyline is great but the looks arent all that, the RX7 takes it in the looks department but theres always the ****el engine which needs rebuilding at a serious cost regularly.

Good thing about Wánkel engines rebuilds are really cheap compativly to normal engines. Less moving parts, only 1 piston, no con rods, less valves. It will probably cost you just over a grand to get one done. About the same cost people spend to just get an Autobox fixed.

Am I the only one who thinks RX-7s look horrible? I respect their tuning potential and wouldnt say no to a free one ;) but looks arent their strongest asset.

Honda NSX for me, then Skyline R33 GTR, MR2 third.

Personally I like the look of a kitted Rx7, an Engine rebuild is around £2500 I think stuart.

I think the £2500 is for a total rebuild. The same for a 300ZX will cost you a hell of a lot more.

my mate bought a rx7 yesterday! :D

his had a re-build already done and it was 2000 i think. 2500 is apparently absolute tops your gonna be paying...not bad in my mind. plus you only need them every 60k or so, so in the whole life of the car you prob only do 2.

the main cost is the petrol apparently...absolutely drinks the stuff!

NSX for me, because a car that can look that good standing stil even coverd in frost,

gets my vote.

Pete and Harve, definately with you on the NSX...I know a Skyline tends to be the popular choice but...damn...I love that car!

Leigh >waiting for the rollover jackpot!

Well Me and everyother person I know thats owned an RX7 have all been going to the wrong places to get rebuilds. It looks like people generaly are getting ripped off for quite a wedge. Please let us know where we can get a rotary engine rebuild parts and labour for a grand. MMMMM interesting. :slap:

Supra for reliability and ease to work on, NSX for handling, RX7 for pure beauty. 300ZX because I always have faith in the underdog and lost causes :(

Wot no 350 or RX8? Or are we talking retro?

If retro then Celica GT4 or Skyline R34 V-spec
