Anyone replaced the front suspension upper link bushes (from inner wing to strut) recently, who does the bushes seperate and prices. I have a few prices from some of the traders on here, anyone found anywhere else that does the bushes seperate.

Courtesey Nissan do and ConceptZ might if you contact them

I did it with the Nissan Nismo bushes from the Nissan place at St Helens. Think it was about £156 for the full set. Got the number from here. Check on a top link bushes search. The people at St Helens say its the same ones for the Skyline and they sell loads to those guys.

Are you talking about the upper arms, as it may be worth paying a bit extra and getting adjustable upper arms so you can adjust front camber. That's if I'm thinking of the same bit!

Jaffa I'd like to get adjustable links but I am trying to keep costs down as I had to but a new PTU before christmas and am trying to keep this quiet from the MRS :shock: as she is desperate for me to sell my car so she can get the kitchen extended......ffs.

Yes I was.

 

Also you can get part of the effect of adjustables very cheaply by fitting shim plates under the inner wing mounts for the upper arms.

Willie am I right in saying u had a brake shudder from your 300, was it the top link bushes??

I had brake shudder way back but it was defo down to warped discs caused by partly siezed calipers. I had some play on the top link bushes on one side and even tho 5mm is allowed I preferred to change them all. In fact both sides showed play once the link was free of the upright. Steering feel was so much tighter and zero rattles once the top link bushes were done and I hope it cures the scubing on the outer edges of the 235 X 18 front tyres. So now the front end is sound but I still have a slight high speed wheel balance issue that niggles me - maybe BBS wheels aint round! Or I've a wheel bearing starting to go off but I cant feel it when its jcked up.
