What's happening with renewals these days?

 

 

i wondered that as I have an option to buy 2 different renewals on my bit of the forum, i didn't get a welcome pack :( when I joined

Just a few things, commitee may wish to change or add to this.

 

You have two options, when you renew you can renew with a welcome pack or without. When we first asked about subscriptions it was to cover the cost of the server ect ect, there was money left and we are preparing a kit for all members that have previously signed up.

 

Due to the nature of the forum I have to give you two boxes, one is to join without the welcome pack and one is to join with the welcome pack.

 

We have decided to set the renewal date for the 1st July 2004, this will have given all the original members 20 months for £20, £1 a months isn't too bad we think.

 

All original members that have renewed since then will be given aditional months. Ussers that have joined since will be kept to their 12 months renewal scheme.

 

With the new forum the process is automated, if we don't receive a cheque or a paypal deposit then the forum will revert you back to a Regular user of the forum with no human intervention, the good news is, if you renew via paypal your fee account is setup automatically so its pretty much instant.
