Anyone here or am I the only person who has not gone Trax?

I didn't go to Trax either - see the messages further down about my bleed screw..

 

Spent oooh an hour trying to get the bumper off (seem to be some extra bolts on mine!), gave up, and realised I could have got the bleed screw out by merely taking the drivers indicator out... D'oh!

 

Drained and filled the rad four times, and it's still coming out brown! Got bored of doing that now, so I'll do it some more next weekend..

Yeah read a little about that.

Need a part where people can leave advice or write up work they did so others can learn

No point me doing a write up on the bumper removal coz I never figured it out

 

I can do one on how to get the bleed screw out from on top of the washer bottle

 

When I do the coolant again next w/end I'll take some pics so other people don't have to spend a day trying to locate the drain plug

Couldn't you just flush it through with a hose rather than filling & emptying it ?

Ah but if you do that, the only bit you're flushing is the radiator itself.. You don't do anything with the water that's sat in the block..
